William and Mary Ann Parmenter, 1860- I feel inclined to put these members of my family in this section of my project because they were the first ones in my blood line to cross the Atlantic Ocean and come to America from England in or around the year 1860. They came to America and lived very humble lives, buying up farmland and then working it to try to survive off of their own produce. There sad part about this story is that in order for them to leave England and come to this great country, they had to leave one of their 3 young children because they did not have the means to pay for all of them to travel. They ended up leaving the youngest child, and they never saw or heard of him ever again. Something that I would like to do is research more about this missing child, and see if he fits into some of the missing puzzle pieces that are in my family jig-saw puzzle, if you will.

Hugh Nibley, 1910-2005
-This man has to be my most famous relative, so it would be a shame if i did not include him in this segment of my project. I have heard that he was a very inspirational advocate of the LDS church, and I am curious to find some of his literary works and study them to see why everybody loves them so much. His book and other works are what really interest me, and that is what I am going to delve into and break down as I go through this whole process. He was also an author of non-religious books and I am interested in looking into what those have in store as well.

Reid Nibley, 1923-2008 - This man has to be my second most famous relative, his brother, Hugh, being number 1. They are both giants in the LDS community, and delving into each of there individual accomplishments and accolades is sure to be quite the journey! Reid has a little bit of a closer tie to me however, because I learned how to play the hymn that he wrote, "I Know My Father Lives", on the piano. The achievements that both of these men have had in their lives is very inspirational to me and i look forward to getting more in depth information about them so that I can further my knowledge about them.
