William and Mary Ann Parmenter, 1860
- These were the first 2 people from my blood line to cross the Atlantic Ocean and immigrate to the united States from England. They made the trip in the around 1860, and it took them 7 weeks in a small sail ship to make the voyage across the pond. They did not necessarily play a huge role in shaping America or creating an impact in the country, but if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be here today.

Though his LDS works were not official standards of the church, members worldwide believe that his contributions to the religion were very truthful and profound.

Reid Nibley- brother of Hugh Nibley, was born in 1923 and died in 2008. He was an American music composer, pianist, and a music educator. He taught at the University of Utah, University of Michigan  and Brigham Young University. He was also a notable LDS figure because he wrote the words and music to one of the songs in the hymnbook titled " I Know My Father Lives", which is a favorite among many LDS families and congregations. He and his brother, Hugh, share much fame in the LDS world.
